Green tea, Black tea, Turmeric, Ginger, Bael Nut, Cornflower petals, Natural flavors (organic compliant).
According to Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, Turmeric (Latin: Curcuma longa) offers a plethora of benefits for the body. Practitioners believe the spice can promote digestion, support the brain and nervous system, and keep body cells functioning at their best, thanks to an abundance of natural antioxidants.
On the other hand, Ginger (Latin: Zingiber officinale), often described as an Ayurvedic medicine chest, is said to help ease joint pain, help the body absorb nutrients and eliminate bodily waste.
Taken together, Ginger and Turmeric are a potent pick-me-up that's surprises the tongue and warms the body from head to toe. To create our drinkable version of this Ayurvedic powerhouse we've combined both with a melange of green and black teas, selected for their polychenol punch, then added bael nut and cornflower petals to round out the blend.
âAyurvedic medicine (âAyurvedaâ for short) is one of the world's oldest holistic (âwhole-bodyâ) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India.
Itâs based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease. But treatments may be geared toward specific health problems.
In the United States, itâs considered a form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).â Ratini, M. (2021, March 20). What is ayurveda? treatments, massage, diet, and more. WebMD. https://www.webmd.com/balance/guide/ayurvedic-treatments
Full bodied black and green tea notes, light floral notes of exceptional seasonal Kenyans. Pungent and spicy with a warmth ending. This is a perfect morning or afternoon tea. We found it wonderful for making Golden Milk by adding 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp grass fed butter and 1/4 cup milk.
âï¸How To Brew Hot Tea: 1 rounded tsp to 8 oz water at no less than 194* (bring to boil and cool for 2 minutes, its usually perfect)
Steep tea for5-10 minutes depending on how strong you prefer your tea. Add milk or sugar to taste.
ð§How To Brew Iced Tea:
When brewing tea to ice, you can use a specialty iced tea pitcher, or you can simply follow the instructions above for making hot tea, but double the amount of loose leaf tea you use. Doubling the amount of tea per cup allows for ice without diminishing flavor.
For by the glass iced tea, simply pour your slightly cooled (sweetened if desired) cup of tea over a full glass of ice.
WE FILL OUR 8 OZ GLASS JARS BY VOLUME- Weights vary by variety of tea as some blends way more depending on the ingredients. For example: LAVENDER BUDS WEIGH LESS THAN DRIED BERRIES, ETC.
This offering hold around 3.5 oz of loose tea in our glass jars (approx 15 tea cups).
