We use a special SOY WAX made from 100% Midwest Soy Beans, grown mainly in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Most of these beans were in the field less than a year before you lit the candle made from them. Our soy wax is a renewable and sustainable crop that doesn’t require deforestation or oil supplies, it is only limited by how much our farmers want to grow! Our wicks are patented Crackling Wicks from the Wooden Wick Company. American Grown, hand cut WOOD WICKS are made with another business model we support: The Wooden Wick Co partnered with TREES FOR THE FUTURE. For Every $100 of Wooden Wicks sold, one tree is planted. These new formulations are now Prop 65 and REACH Compliant. Our jars are made just next door in Lancaster, Ohio by Anchor Hocking since 1905. They are recyclable and reusable!! We source biodegradable peanuts (dissolve in water) and post consumer made boxes for our shipping needs. Our candles are an affordable luxury you can FEEL GOOD about adding to your home. We use simple clean ingredients, minimal labeling and packaging and focus on the product in the jar. BURNING INSTRUCTIONS Keep wick centered & trimmed to 1/4" to ensure even burning & prevent flame from becoming too large. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for no more than four hours at a time. Stop using when only 1/4" of wax remains. Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot. Our packaging and kraft paper labels are simple, we concentrate on the luxury ingredients in our products not on expensive packaging.
