Ms. Laundy's Cold Cream We combined our super thick, rich and luxurious skin cream with our Ms. Laundy's All in One beauty oil, perfect for about all that ails your skin. We made a face cream cold whipped for a quick absorbing and super hydrating nighttime skin face and neck cream. There are no SPF protection for this cream, use at bedtime or under an SPF for daytime use. Remove a small amount of product and put it on the back of your hand, use two fingertips and gently tap under eyes moving upward in gentle swipes. Apply to entire neck and face in an upward motion (don't help gravity by going down). Available in a 2 oz (bedside) jar or an 8 oz (bathroom sized) jars. I keep the smaller size in the fridge for a quick morning boost to those bags under my sleepy eyes. Like the "snake oil" of years gone by this is a one size fits all for anything that might ail you (except actual pain, disease, sickness, health issues, lol). This isn’t the old Dr. Kilmers Kidney, Liver, Bladder Root oil, but it can quickly mend dry skin, dull patches, chapped lips, cracked hands and cuticles, ashy elbows, frizzy hair, itchy beard, winter skin, wrinkles, baby butts, dandruff, rough feet... If it’s part of you, this blend helps it. A magical blend of Argan, hemp, almond, macadamia nut, calendula, MCT, Vitamin E and soothing, healing essential oils. Ingredients: Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Argan oil, Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Sweet Almond Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Frankincense Oil, Sweet Orange, Essential oil **THE STORY BEHIND THE FORMULA** I have a friend who is a potter and claims to have the worst dry skin and cuticles from both her art the weather. She had a bottle of my beard oil for her hubs to test, she told me the oil was amazing for her hands and hair. That was the birth of Ms. Laundy’s oil. I started with our skin oil formula, removed the scented essential oils, added soothing lavender and rosemary and a few other skin tricks from Ms. Laundy’s book and Wow!!!! For those of you who don’t know me, you’ve likely never heard of Ms. Laundy, she was a lady that lived near my Granny long before I was thought of. Ms. Laundy was known for her ability to make your rash or your husband to go away, whichever you needed. She would buy warts from you, make little magic bottles to help you sleep and pour peppermint tea for a “mean stomach”. I remember going with my Granny through her weed filled yard and up a stone path to her itty bitty house when I was just little. They were friends and I remember only small flashes or maybe just stories about her. My Granny ended up with one of her book of secrets, which she in turn gave to me. This book is the source for my Four Thieves, Fire cider and Florida water recipes among others. I borrowed the calendula, lavender and peppermint oils from her recipe for glowing skin. You may be pleased to know I left the chicken fat element right there in her book and substituted my super fats For this formula.
