Think of it as the cleansers our Moms used to call "Cold Cream" to clean off the days worth of makeup and prepare your skin for your nighttime treatments. Cold whipped moisturizing soap with Ms. Laundy's oil whipped in for a supercharged cleanse to help reduce acne, minimize the appearance of fine lines and open your pores up to accept your toner and Ms. Laundys oil and cream. Remove a quarter size amount from the jar and apply to hands, facial brush, sponge or scrubby and work in gentle upward motions. Gently pat skin dry and follow with our Rose toner and Ms. Laundys oil or cream (or both). This cleanser is gentle enough to use every day. About Ms. Laundys Oil: Like the "snake oil" of years gone by this is a one size fits all for anything that might ail you (except actual pain, disease, sickness, health issues, lol). Ms. Laundy was known for her ability to make your rash or your husband to go away, whichever you needed. She would buy warts from you, make little magic bottles to help you sleep and pour peppermint tea for a “mean stomach”. I remember going with my Granny through her weed filled yard and up a stone path to her itty bitty house when I was just little. They were friends and I remember only small flashes or maybe just stories about her. My Granny ended up with one of her book of secrets, which she in turn gave to me. This book is the source for my Four Thieves, Fire cider and Florida water recipes among others. I borrowed the calendula, lavender and peppermint, frankincense and a few other oils from her recipe. You may be pleased to know I left the smashed wild onion and chicken fat elements right there in her book and substituted my super fats for this formula.
