WARNING
Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable materials. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
Keep wick centered & trimmed to a maximum of 1/4" to ensure
even burning & prevent flame from becoming too
large. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface
for no more than four hours at a time. Stop using
when only 1/4" of wax remains. Do not move
candle while burning or if wax is hot.
For BEST burn results, make sure to keep your wick trimmed to 1/8â- 1/16â.
You can do this by breaking off the top black bits of the wick with your fingers (I usually knock mine off with my lighter, but I'm a rebel).
If you find that breaking the charred bits isnât doing it, you can also use wick trimmers or even nail clippers (weird but it works!) to trim the wood a bit more.Â
The FIRST burn is the most important
Did you know candles have a âmemory?â The way you burn a candle the first time determines how the candle burns for the rest of its life! On the first burn, ensure you allow enough time (2-3 hours) to let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the container. If the wick is having trouble staying lit on the first burn, your wick is too tall. DO NOT keep trying to light without trimming the wick as you cause a tunnel to form.
A tunnel will essentially form, making it difficult for the wax around the wick to fully melt. At times, the tunnel can become too deep for the wick to âbreathe,â and the candle will have trouble staying lit. If this happens you can tilt the jar ( only at 10%) and light the wick and allow the melting wax to fill the tunnel. When its filled, trim the wick to the correct height, allow the candle to harden again and light it at the wax level.
Our packaging and kraft paper labels are simple, we concentrate on the luxury ingredients in our products not on expensive packaging. Sleek and modern farmhouse in design and true luxury in form.

----CANDLE BURNING INSTRUCTIONS----
The basics of lighting and enjoying your wooden wick candle are simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
âIt is IMPORTANT to trim a wooden wick to 1/8â â 3/16â, and no longer. If the wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick, and the flame will dim or even extinguish.
âï¸NEVER remove wax from around the wick, it starves the wick and creates a tunnel.
If your wooden wick is extinguishing shortly after lighting it, trimming is the problem.
Simply give it a trim with wick trimmers, nail clippers or simply snap the char off with your fingers or tap if off with your lighter and remove the wick bits, light it at the wax level and you'll be crackling away!!

ALLERGIES AND SENSITIVITIES
Are scented candles and skincare products triggers for asthma or allergies?
Although millions of Americans regularly use scented products without any negative effects, it is always possible that a particular fragrance might trigger a negative reaction in a very small percentage of sensitive individuals. Individuals with known sensitivities to specific fragrances may want to avoid products of those scents. In addition, consumers should remember to burn all candles, whether scented or unscented, in a well-ventilated area and test skincare products in a small area before use.
**Cleaning out your candle jar to reuse it
Hot water can be used to easily and safely remove wax. Place the candle on a stable surface protected with a towel or newspaper.
Use a spoon to remove as much wax as you can. Pour very hot water into the container ( I use a regular fill from my coffee pod machine), leaving room at the top. The hot water will melt the wax and it will float to the top.
Let the water cool overnight and simply pop out the wax âcookieâ that formed on top of the water.
Strain the water to get rid of any small wax bits (Donât pour wax down the drain) !
I pour mine into a used coffee filter after Iâve brewed a pot and toss the filter, coffee and wax (remove wick tab) into my compost.
Wipe any remaining wax and clean with hot soap and water or pop it in the dishwasher.**
